Education encourages the teacher candidates to connect taught concepts and instill a more comprehensive understanding. The researchers comprehended mathematics connections made by moderate students in solving problems. applied qualitative approach identify problem-solving process. collected data from 35 of primary school education enlisted at Universitas Negeri Semarang. with connection evaluation, strategy, interview. screened interview process, taken purposive sampling. developed questions based on characteristics proposed NCTM. included inter-mathematics topic connection, interdisciplinary daily life connection. revealed three types established while They were comprehension, reasoning, representation, procedure.
